Good to know

  • Pick one of your recent matches on the left, the analysis appears on the right. The same window opens from the 📊 button next to every result and in the replay.
  • Ratings: every player gets 0.5 to 5 stars. Goals, assists, shots, passes, ball wins, saves, goals conceded, the result and cards all count. The best one is "Player of the match".
  • xG means "expected goals": how often a chance of this kind becomes a goal in Gaffer's Desk on average. A penalty is worth about 0.76 xG, a shot from 25 metres only a few hundredths. More xG than goals means: chances wasted.
  • Heatmap and pass network show where your players stood and who passed to whom - the thicker the line, the more often. The pitch is always turned so that play goes to the right.
  • Shots: every dot is an attempt, its size is the xG. Possession shows in which third a team had the ball.
  • Without a replay (matches between two AI clubs) there are only the stats.
